The second-hand marketplace Users Voice Displeasure Regarding Size Modifications
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to listings displaying inaccurate size information.
This online marketplace has altered its sizing categories for women's and children's garments failing to inform all users about the change.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present a different size category than originally posted because of the remapping.
The company said the new system was more in line with other platforms.
It has advised users to review their products and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Updates
Previously, the sizing featured one number and one letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter and a range like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
Member Accounts
A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
A different member, located in Scotland, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were appearing on the platform as size 20–22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she explained.
Required Changes
A different user, from Derby, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the measurements for "each individual item".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount following partial earnings loss," she explained.
Platform Context
The app has more than 100 million users, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: last year, the service retracted a modification to its shipping options after backlash from users.
